Here’s a little something to get you excited about St. Patrick’s Day (in case Kegs and Eggs isn’t enough). Created by Cydney Johnson of Stiletto Events, this shoot has no shortage of beautiful places to rest your eyes. I had a terrible time narrowing down the images that were submitted so you have tons of eye candy to enjoy in the additional gallery as well!
I adore the way the bride is styled from head to toe! I wish I had that model’s hair! I appreciate the subtle Irish touches with hand bells, shamrocks, Irish proverbs, and horse shoes. Intense pops of this year’s signature color, emerald green, make a great accent that really captures the eye. And I really like that the vast majority of details in this shoot are reasonably priced or DIY. Cydney explains, “It was important that each detail of the style shoot was easily obtainable for brides of any budget.” The headscarf is simply made with tulle and a silk flower. It only cost $3 to make which blows me away because it looks really good! Another cute touch is the way the shamrocks so perfectly house little Kisses. And I think it’s great that despite the harsh light of winter in Colorado, the images are warm and romantic. The snow in the background is dappled and provides a fun pattern.
Enjoy!
