Venue: The Cable Center, Denver
Wedding #3 in the Spring Cleaning week is this incredibly vibrant, colorful Cable Center wedding. Once you see the fantastic pictures and the personality of this couple, you will understand why this one was a keeper despite never contacting the couple to get the whole story. A great deal is told by the images and back story provided by the photographer, Elevate Photography (loved them from the beginning and love them still, always have and always will).
Maddie and Tripper are seriously crazy about a few things: Each other, soccer, and selfies. Additionally, Tripper is more than a little excited about the color orange and BACON! So all of these things were heavily incorporated into their wedding. This vivid wedding features a bold orange (Tripper’s favorite) and a saturated purple (Maddie’s fav). The theme was applied to everything from the shoes to flowers to food. They even requested that guests wore orange and purple. You can see how the “groom’s side” glows like a jack-o-lantern!
The day starts off with getting ready photos in hotel rooms that are not-so-coincidentally decorated in wedding appropriate colors. (I particularly love the shot where Tripper appears to be receiving his bridal boudoir photos of Maddie). They then move on to a super fun filled first look and wedding party portraits on the soccer field at DU. The pair exchanged vows at South Denver Seventh Day Adventist Church where Maddie’s parents wed and where she held the position of flower girl for her uncle’s wedding 21 years before. Originally from Hawaii, Tripper included his history into the wedding with a lei ceremony. Nods were also made to the islands with tropical flowers in the floral arrangements and on the custom made stationery/signage. Those beautiful colors and tropical touches spilled over into a high-energy reception at the Cable Center that was fueled by signature prickly pear margaritas and chipotle chocolate drizzled bacon! These crazy kids really did it up right! The whole day was expertly coordinated by A Touch of Bliss.Venue: The Cable Center (Reception) and South Denver Seventh Day Adventist Church (Ceremony) | Photography: Elevate Photography | Event Planing: A Touch of Bliss | Bridal Gown: Justin Alexander via Little White Dress | Bridesmaid Dresses: David’s Bridal | Groom(smen) Attire: Al’s Formal Wear | Rings: Shane | Floral Design: Mainstreet Flower Market | Catering: Footers Catering | Cake: Mulberries Cake Shop | Stationery: Six Leaf Design (See Maddie and Tripper’s invitation and signage suite here) | DJ: Rock Candy
